Janelle & Jason are the type of couple that any photographer would love to have in front of their lens. They have a great sense of humor, they are adventurous, and best of all they are ready for any situation. So when the day starts off with a quick and strong thunderstorm, you ready yourself for some bridal anxiety…yet Janelle & Jason both took it in stride and soon enough the clouds rolled away the sun shone brightly.
This was one of the most emotionally beautiful weddings we have ever been a part of. Janelle & Jason were married by Jason’s good friend Mike, so the ceremony was filled with heartfelt and authentic words. The only thing that topped the ceremony emotionally was their first dance. Jason wrote and recorded a song as a surprise for Janelle.
The day was visually stunning as well, which came as no surprise because Janelle studied printmaking and then studied the art of hair and makeup (she’s been cutting my hair for years and is the only person I would have trusted on my own wedding day with my hair and makeup!), and Jason is a talented musician, music producer, and audio engineer. With such a creative pair at a venue like The Mansion Inn, we knew the day was going to look incredible.
