Missy and RJ contacted us last September knowing they were having a destination wedding at The Sagamore Resort on Lake George. They were excited about their engagement session and knew they wanted it to be at Coney Island. In a few short weeks we traveled from upstate and they traveled from their home in Connecticut and we met at Brooklyn’s own Coney Island. We had a fantastic time photographing them and getting to know them during their engagement session (they said that RJ would be shy in front of the camera, but his personality and humor definitely emerged during the session)!
After the session, we were counting the days until their Sagamore wedding and they did not disappoint; Missy was absolutely stunning and RJ was quite dapper himself!
The guys relaxed before the ceremony and RJ “helped” his little brother with his tie. As you’ll see, the entire bridal party had a great sense of humor and were nothing but upbeat and full of life the whole day.
Missy and RJ’s dog, Jack, accompanied their bridal party down the aisle. He was seriously adorable!
RJ’s twin sister, Tina, participated in the handfasting ceremony.
For the lakeside ceremony, Missy & RJ provided these cool shades to all the guests alongside a sign that read “Don’t get blinded by our love.”

As part of their bridesmaid gift, Missy gave each of the girls a pair of TOMS. Unfortunately, before the end of the night, Santina had an accident and injured her ankle. She stayed in good spirits and still insisted on this photo. Santina- we hope you’re ankle is doing well!
