We met Victoria & Adam in Liberty State Park, NJ for their engagement session and instantly loved photographing them. Victoria was comfortable in front of the camera, they wanted certain things (the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island in the background) and they trusted us on others and were up for anything. This proved to be true again when they climbed into a rowboat on their wedding day and boy are we happy they did!
Victoria is a designer so, naturally, she designed their entire invitation suite. It. Was. Gorgeous. The letter press, the gold leaf, the hot pink edging. Perfection. The rest of the wedding was just as stunning. How could it not be with a Chuppah made on-site, the backdrop of the Adirondack mountains, Thirteenth Lake, and Garnet Hill Lodge? It was an incredible day.
Emotions ran high as everyone was overwhelmed with the love of Victoria and Adam and the celebration of their union.
The first dances were the most stunning I’ve ever seen, as they were held on the lawn in order to accommodate the Horah and the amount of people dancing. Again, the Adirondack scenery made the perfect backdrop for each dance, the next more emotional than the one before. Then, after the toasts, Victoria’s dad played and sang Bob Dylan’s Forever Young and I’m not sure there was a dry eye in the house (at least mine wern’t).
We love when a couple infuses each part of their wedding with their own personality, style, and family. Victoria and Adam’s wedding was just that. Thank you for choosing us to capture these moments and to be a part of your day.
